Firefly was the next Whedon's popular show and it's safe to say that she created a buzz. Summer Glau was very good in her role as the complicated as River Tam. Tam has to take part in experiments sponsored by the government to prepare her to be the greatest assassin. Tam's emotional control was taken away as a direct result. In Firefly Glau was in a position to display not only her acting abilities but also her skills in fighting. Glau had the ability to make the most of her athletic capabilities since she was trained as a sleuth. Summer Glau has been a ballerina from the age of an infant. Broken toes marked the last straw in her life as an actress. Firefly ran for only one season, but it gained an avid following. So passionate that Whedon went back to it a couple of years later. Summer Glau however continued to produce high quality. Summer Glau was a regular on TV series including Cold Case, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
