Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the US for more than forty years. Most famously, she is known because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in during her stage debut. In 1956, she made her big break in the stage on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. The same year, She made her debut album of music It's time for Tina. Louise started her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre a dramatic film. It was an enormous success and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. While a student at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next role she starred in was from 1964, when she was signed by CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour managed to move between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character contrast to her image of a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary but she also was a successful television director with several series including Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born on 28 August 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of her childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the lead role.
